Yummy Cafe in Tralee is looking to recruit a Kitchen Porter to join their already very successful kitchen team and assist the Head Chef in maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the Kitchen.

The Role:

This position is based in a busy Day-Time kitchen, and the KP should be available Mon-Sat (No Sundays or Bank Holidays).

Main Duties:

• Assist in the management of the wash-up section of the kitchen.
• Update HACCP records.
• Kitchen hygiene/cleanliness.
• Working with the chefs to ensure the highest level of cleanliness is maintained at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but training will be given.
• Previous experience of HACCP is preferred but full training will be given.
• Fluent English is essential.
• Good work ethic and flexibility in the role.
• Be able to work on your own initiative and be willing to assist when required in all areas of the kitchen.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Team- player who can work well in a team or individually.
